Realising our insignificance.

Realising our insignificance.

To go through life and not take an hour thinking about our existence would be a shame. As kids, we think life is given to all of us. Correctly speaking, it is given to all of us, but ‘us’ is those who life was given to. Were a small percentage. The other (higher) percentage was not given life. This is not realised by many.

When thinking about ourselves, we automatically think we were supposed to be, nothing is bigger or better than us. But all it takes is to take a step back and view the planet from space, it is only then that we can see how in significant we are, how insignificant a new car is, how insignificant those new shoes are but only if the brain allows. We need to realise how lucky we are to be alive. We have all one the lottery of life.

We all live in bubble, unfortunately, most bubbles remain un-popped. Those of us who realise at a young age how short life is and how we should not hang around waiting for things need to be thankful. We’re a small percentage yet again.

I think the best exercise for people of any age is to imagine being 70 and on the bed we don’t want to be on. What would you recommend to someone of your current age, what would you have wished you should have done, what would do differently. The list goes on.

Thank you for reading.
Short and sweet- like our life’s.

Live like you’ve been given a second chance. You’ll never feel ready so do it now.
