RE: Introducing Omi: My New "Assistant" [Interview Included] with a Discussion on Next Generation Steemians

Awesome initiative! I think it's very good to introduce kids at an early age to the process of working and making some money. The earlier one realizes that money doesn't grow on trees the better in my opinion !

As for the question of what age is suitable to start on Steemit I think any age is okay to be honest, as long as you have some guidance. I think Steemit can be an awesome "first job". As you earn Steem there is no saying how much your earnings will be worth down the road :)

@dandesign86, so true. You picked the perfect word, GUIDANCE. The learning curve is so much steeper with this platform but kids these days are so comfortable with technology, I think once they learn the technical skills of blogging as well as the know-how of keeping an account secure, it's more about the soft skills of learning to how to encourage and support others in the community.

LOL, for sure, depending on when she starts, I have no doubt she could end up with more than enough to pay for school and more.

Exactly! Now that is pretty neat down the road, to not have to start your career with a huge student debt !
