I love it when the universe begins to join the dots. A random meeting suddenly has purpose. The unclear becomes clear. The door opens and leads to another.
Every time I've put myself out of my comfort zone recently, I seem to be rewarded and often that reward comes in the form of a new and lovely human.
Mostly they have been people on a similar journey to mine, who have traded in the expected to follow their truths, to live a life they love and they seem to come at just the right time to reassure and inspire me.
Last weekend when I went to the engagement party where I was made to feel so unwelcome, the silver lining - just before I left - came in the form of a woman who introduced herself to me at the bar.
We chatted and I soon discovered that she had recently left property sales to follow her heart and go back to counselling.
We met up for coffee a few days later and spent hours sharing stories and realising how much we have in common.
I told her about the eco-property project I am in the process of setting up with a lady I met in another chance encounter at the end of last year and yesterday she called to say she wanted to introduce me to a friend.
I met them for lunch and it turns out her friend owns a large solar installation and energy
efficiency consultation company right here in Cape Town. Not only is he such a lovely guy, but he was immediately excited to get involved with our project.
There’s been plenty to worry about recently, from unresolved loose ends to financial stress and on top of that it’s full moon which always throws off my balance slightly.
But today the universe reassured me, reiterating that I’m on the right path and that so long as I stick to it I will be guided, supported and surrounded by like minded souls.
Regardless of how cheesy this sounds - I am grateful for all the blessings, opportunities and struggles that have been put in front of me and I will do my best to make the most of them in the most positive way possible.
In the end, it all works out the way it should.
Love,
Daisy xx
