Paralympics: Vogue Magazine photoshopped models without disability instead of using real paralympic athletes

in #life8 years ago (edited)

As a big magazine who does a promotion for paralympics including photos of athletes... you would quite obviously chose... paralympic athletes, wouldn't you? Well...

Vogue Magazine had another idea. They released some pics on instagram showing 'paralympic athletes' with disabilities for a campaign. Pretty nice campaign at first sight... but it came out that the persons on the picture are actually Cleo Pires and Paulo Vilhena. As you can see in the following pictures they are normal models without any disability. They were just photoshopped to paralympic athletes!

Cleo Pires

Paulo Vilhena

Awkward stuff. Really, Vogue?
Are you f***ing serious? No comment on that mendaciousness.
