In this post I will talk about another tip to help our body to reach balance, this will be the second one of a 5 post serie. I previously talked about the importance of breathing deeply at least once a day. Now, let's talk about the second tip:
2) PERFORM A PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REGULARLY
You’ve probably heard or read somewhere the benefits of exercise, but do you really know what happens to your body if you don’t include any type of physical activity in your day to day?
If you spend most of your day lying down or sitting down it’s not a surprise if you get exhaust with the slightest effort, but why? Because our body is designed to keep in constant movement, the lack of physical activity will result sooner or later in the loss of strength of our muscles, bones and joints.
This translates into an increased risk of suffering injuries and diseases related to a sedentary lifestyle, it also explains the fatigue that occurs when performing simple activities.

To change your routine you can start with simple activities like going for a walk, running, swimming or biking. Eventually you can evaluate if you feel good with those activities or if you want to incorporate specific exercises for each area of the body.
Remember that doing physical activities brings benefits to our health, maintains muscle mass, increases strength and energy, improves mood and much more. So, what are you waiting for? Start moving!
