Poverty is a relative term. While one can say that a person who earns $5/day is poor, the same can be said to a guy who earns $500/day. Like they say, don't spend more than you earn. A person who earns $500/day yet spends $1500 a day is considered poor. A person who earns $5 a day and spends only $1/day is considered wealthy.
