Hello my fellow Steemians!
I become distanced for three days due to events those i can't help. I mentioned before, my work as a ship agent is keeping me busy all the time. I even keep checking my e-mails while writing here. And the last three days were exhausting hence i couldn't be able to find enough strength to login and keep my blog alive.
Well, i'm here and eager to explain difference between dull and uniform in my married life :)
Have you ever think about what's boring in your lives? Is every monotonic action boring in your point of view? To me, it's not, not even close when it comes to my working life.
I can explain my point of view as that: Uniform is good. It brings stability with it. And stability makes your lives more and more simple. Everyday would become familiar by this way. And familiar is not boring, it's just like the other day i have already experienced. I wouldn't be surprised, wouldn't have experience unknown hard events and finish the day easily.
This is perfect for me. This is perfect way of get rid of unknown money losses and time spent. This keeps me safe, keeps my work safe and keeps my clients safe.
On the other hand, i can bare uniform in my private life. I just need to make some surprises to myself and my wife or improvize sometimes.
Let me explain this in an example:
I wake up 05:30 every day. Take a shower, get dressed and go to shuttle. Shuttle drops me by work between 07:30 - 07:50. Shift starts at 08:00 and finishes at 17:30. Every week i have one overdue and every month i work at two weekends. One of those weekends i probably have a ship control (that means i have to go to port and take care of the formalities in order to vessel don't face any kind of problem in berthing and departure).
This is my work ritual. And i hate any kind of change on that. Sometimes a vessel comes to shipyard for repair and i hate it beacuse it means a long way to shipyard, lots of formalities different than usual and new crew and master to gain trust. All kinds of time-sink, trashing etc.
But in my private life, i like to act more flexible. I like to spend time with my wife without establishing rigid rules. We eat if we hungry regardless of time, we lie down all day long if we want to, we watch whatever we want and go wherever we love. All of those should be impovized; because those are joyfull in that way.
In addition, it's okay for both of us to live a monotonic life. Actuall, it's the way we spend our time on sundays. We make a strong breakfast by 12:00. After that we lie down by the TV and start a series marathon. Only dinner interupts this marathon and it finishes about 12:30.
We would be happy either way. But, there is one essential point in improvizing or monotonic private life. Love.
Don't mark me instantly as a gunk romantic, i'm serious. I mean that you should find someone whom loves to do or not to do something with you. This is the way you would always be happy with your partner regardless of actions. Every women love being pampered or take expensive gifts. If she loves lie down all day long with you, well, that is what matters in my point of view.
Bottomline is, i don't call every monotonic action boring. They work really well in working life and can be used in private life.
