Being in a relationship with someone you love is supposed to be the happiest feeling in the world. You feel loved, cared and protected. You get to share the best moments together, happiness, joy, laughters and even the tears. As long as you are together, nothing should matter anymore.
But what if this is not the case. What if you are in a relationship with someone you love but you aren't happy. You're not happy because you would do anything for that person but they wouldn't do the same thing for you. You know they love you, but not that much.
You keep telling yourself that it is okay since you love the person but is it really okay? Is it really okay that you pour everything you have to the relationship and they can't even do the things they said they would do. They say when you love someone, you should not really expect anything in return, but is it really wrong to expect something from someone you love.
I know different people have different Love languages. Some people enjoy giving gifts and some people enjoy doing things for their loved ones. Should I assume that his/her love language is this. They keep saying that they love you, yet they are also the one that keeps hurting you. There are days when you wish you just didn't care anymore so that it won't hurt that much. But no matter how hard you try to pretend to not care, it's still very painful.
At the end of the day, you can't do anything about it because you love the person. You just continue day by day, hoping that something will change soon. Hoping that it gets better.
