I am going to share with you 5 things that successful people do.
I am very fortunate that over the last 20 years, I have been studying about a great person & his name is Chanakya. Who lived in India for almost 2400 years ago, but the most important thing about Chanakya was that he was a leadership guru. He created lot of leaders & being interested in Chanakya & his wisdom, I started studying not only Chanakya’s books but also started comparing those particular ideas given by Chanakya with the modern day leaders. All those principle of success during those days given by Chanakya & all the ideas because of people which becomes successful today is actually the same. It’s very surprising like health, like money, like wisdom. They may change forms, but actually they are eternal. So if you look at thousands of years ago, people wanted to be healthy, wealthy & be wise. Today also the people wanted to be health, wealthy & wise. So the principles don’t change.
To be healthy, you want to be eat healthy food, exercise & have a great life style. So what are the qualities that make the person successful?
I want to share five of them.
First quality of any particular successful person is, he or she is a reader. They read wide & deep. They don’t read just newspapers. They read whatsapp messages & lot of things that is available on the internet. But they are deep readers & thinkers. They read a lot. They read books, journals & the important thing is they even discuss with people. They are the people who are widely informed. So you must have heard about a quote, which says “All leaders are readers”.
Second quality is directly connected to reading & that is ‘writing’. Successful people write a lot. I am not talking about writing books alone. What do you mean by writing? Writing is something most of us learn on schools. I think basic writing everybody knows, but people don’t take writing seriously. Start writing daily dairies will make you a good writer.
Third & the most important quality is ‘Time Management’. If you look at all successful people, they do multitasking. What is multitasking? It’s one thing focus multiplied by 100 times. They can manage multiple things because they are very good in time management. They don’t value minutes. They actually values seconds & when you manage seconds, you actually manage minutes & When you manage minutes, you actually manage hours & When you manage hours, you manage the whole day. Like that, you can manage whole year & life. All successful people know the value of time. If you will value time, time will value you.
Fourth quality is ‘Keeping the company of successful people’. If you want to be successful, make sure you are in the company of successful people. As they say, a person is what the company he/she keeps. Choose your friends circle wisely.
Fifth quality is ‘Think like a leader’. I am not telling you to become a leader. Even to become a leader or a successful person, you need to start believing in it.
