Most People Are Living in Their Time of Sleep...

in #life6 years ago

Hello, dear friends!

I know the first thing that came to your head when you read the title of this blog post:

That it is going to be just another article about the true necessity of sleep and rest when you want to live a productive life.

I am not here to talk about the cycle of sleep, as in resting your mind and body every 24 hours, but I want to talk about how each and every one of us are living a life of ignorance on a daily basis.

This is what I would like to think of as people’s Time of Sleep.

Almost everyone has been a dreamer at some point in their life. Dreaming and thinking in big terms for our lives have always been one of our best qualities as a species on this planet.

A lot of people go a step further and take steps to realize those dreams.

They become powerhouses filled with excitement and motivation that fuels their harsh and dangerous journey.

But as hard as we might find to confess the ultimate truth, we all spend most of our time asleep.

What do I mean by that?

image2.jpg

Even though you may have big ideas, it is in the nature of your brain to be forgetful of its most important faculties.

What we think of as ‘mindfulness’ is our greatest asset in this world, and it is also the most neglected concept in the whole of philosophy and collective wisdom regarding motivation and productivity.

Despite our purest intentions and best efforts, we spend most of our daily time absent-minded, our minds wandering places that have nothing new or progressive for our life.

Our absentmindedness compels us to forget our priorities, and that in turn adversely affects our productivity.

image4.jpg
img src

Suffice to say, most of us think that we sleep 6 or 7 hours a day, when in truth we spend most of it sound asleep without even knowing it.

A person who is truly awake would jump at the opportunity of working for their dreams.

A person who understands the value of time and the stakes that are currently at play in their lives would not dare to waste a single moment.

No emotional response or incentive of any kind could trigger a person who is truly awake.

But those who live their lives in a state of bliss are indeed capable dreamers, but they cannot bring themselves to do anything for those dreams.

That is why they spend most of their time asleep.

image3.jpg
img src

If you truly want to be awake, become mindful of your every waking moment.

Think about the passage of time, about the ticking of the clock, and how every moment is a lost opportunity that can never be gained again.

Only then will you be able to stay awake at its purest form.

Any other mental state and you can be sure that you are only feeling the sensation of being awake, when in truth you are sound asleep.

A BIG HUG!

The moment I read the title, I asked myself what does he meant by that? But in the first sentence you also implied how tricky it would be for your readers. I really appreciate the way you understand the physiology of your followers.

As long as the detail of your post is concerned, the state of pure consciousness is the most important very important factor that leads human beings for greater productivity, joy and peace. If you are not living every moment as conscious as enough, you could not get what you should out of time, but simply spend that specific time absent-minded which you cannot go back to relive again. It’s gone already!!!. Therefore, you can only correct that nature of forgetfulness of your brain through practicing the ability to live on the “NOW” moment. Only in such state of vigilance one can actively think and work for the fulfillment of his dreams and goals.
Thanks a lot

@chbartist, Every moment is lost opportunity because in those past moments we had the opportunity to take action towards our Ideas. And for sure this subject is topic of discussion because now Human Beings are living in the times of full of information and people are thinking about 100 things at one moment and many are failing to achieve Atleast one out of hundred because Focus is missing and fear is increasing. As you said, we have to be mindful at awake time so that we can put our focus in now moment and we can take action with clarity and inturn in life we will going to hold the peace and inturn we will not going to lack resting time anymore. Stay blessed.

If you truly want to be awake, become mindful of your every waking moment.

Such wise and true words. I will try to follow them...

And I want to be included in the list of contributors to this community.
Does this community have its own tag?
I followed you, resteemed and upvoted this post.

I become anxious when I am not doing something viewed as productive because of this mindset. Time is the only think we know we never get back so its best to make the best of it and amways act upon it.

Hi @chbartist I agree with you on this. I also believe that a disciplined sleeping schedule in important part of routine. Our body also need rest and timely rest gives it huge energy to do better and stay fit. Thanks for writing.

so very true. It's like we're machines living the same way everyday without realizing how fast our time is going by.

Thanks for your post and it is true that we walk though life with blinders on... I appreciate your mindful take on this...

Woowww! It was a brilliant read. :)

Hi, @ chbartist. In general, we believe that it is enough to aspire to something or to dream, and we try to differentiate ourselves from others, affirming that we are well because we dream of something that others do not. But what am I doing to realize that dream, and how much time I spend in the dream without living it in reality, that would be a very good question.

Always first we see dreams then try to achieve them . Title was riddl but you explain very well . Which sleeping time about you are talking here actual that time not scheduled time it is a analysing time . We think about what we wanna do ? How to achieve our goal? Nice explanation @chbartist

Great job my friend ! This is fantastic... And about this community, how can I become a member ? ...

I heard that silence is golden. I wonder if it is not platinum or even more precious. I also know that one cannot argue against quiet. A simple quieter of my mind is asking myself, "what great revelations are not waiting for me right now?"

Every time your post hits very nice and amazing posts

It's a really good, nice and wow Post.I like your post and your photo very nice,I love very much.

A person who understands the value of time and the stakes that are currently at play in their lives would not dare to waste a single moment.

There is no perfect human being who could spend their lives perfectly every single nano moment.

Sometimes we tend to be perfect as much as we could and ended up frustrated due to the extreme seriousness of our actions.
We can't smile back when our kids smile at us because we're extremely hooked with our goals of productivity.

SON: “Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
DAD: “Yeah sure, what is it?”
SON: “How much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “That’s none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?”
SON: “I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “If you must know, I make $100 an hour.”
SON: “Daddy, may I please borrow $50?”
The father was furious and said, “If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard every day for my money.”
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy’s questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn’t ask for money very often.
The man went to the door of the little boy’s room, and opened the door and asked his son if he was awake and the boy replied that he was.
DAD: “I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It’s been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here’s the $50 you asked for.”
The little boy sat straight up, smiling, and said, “Oh, thank you daddy!”
Then, reaching under his pillow the boy pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. As the little boy slowly counted out his money, his father asked, “Why do you want more money if you already have some?”
SON: “Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do. Daddy, I have $100 now; can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.”
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

This was a great article. First I've read from you. Thank you for this "wake up" call.

@chbartist I think it's a very good observation of our life. it also happens to me but never think it this way you've mentioned here.i really appreciate

True @chbartist......
Dreaming is every one's life part but very few peoples realize their dreams and act for it.

In the end, we only regret chances we didn't take. Absentmindedness works for some people effectively. One of such People is me. I drift my mind away when I am thinking of providing solutions to problems. However, I take note of the things on ground even in my absentmindedness so as to be upright with every steps I take, because a moment wasted is gone forever. Regards @chbartist. I remain my humble self @comclick

Look up Dr Joe Dispenza

That's a good article, our monkey mind keeps jumping all the time, there is so much we can accomplish but we lose the zeal somewhere and go back in our slumber. We are sleeping and sleeping all the time, unless we get a hit in someway in life we do not wake up

Congratulations @chbartist!

NICE ARTICLE SLEEP IS GooD for helth but not extra

I definitely agree that we do spend a great deal of time "asleep", but I think there's more to being "awake" than just being productive. Our dreams and aspirations are what drive us to do more, but in most cases reality puts a barrier in our path. Living a life where we focus only on our goals can also lead us to continually lead blind lives. We need our dreams, we need to chase them, but we also have to take in every other aspect of life as well. We may be absentminded most of the time, but maybe that's a good thing. Maybe instead of chasing one thing in life, we should chase everything. After all, there's so much to do and truly so little time to do it all.

Chase your dreams, but remember to take a few detours too. After all, what have we got in our lives once we've obtained our dreams?

The term asleep is given to people who do not do anything in life, conformist people who prefer to live in the routine instead of leaving a bit of their comfort zone to achieve their dreams.

We all have Dreams;
Not only is he dreaming asleep, he's also awake ...
How to achieve dreams?
Effort, Dedication, Work ...
Can they be Productive, Meaningful?
It is not about being asleep or awake, in all our dreams God must be present; He is the creator of all dreams; the simplest and the most complex; The dreams that God places in your mind, come from your heart and are born in the will of God. God has dreamed about you, how he sees you, to love you, because he trains you and everything with a purpose for great things
It is a principle that is beyond an idea, it is in the heart of God and it is sent to you through his Holy Spirit. Great dreamers of God changed the whole world; an example of this is Patriarch Joseph in the days of the old testament; he had to support humanity from a total famine; that is how important things our almighty God does. In this post-modern time there are many people who are hungry and thirsty; God as those times have dreams with humanity; He wants to satisfy your hunger and thirst; he wants to bless you; and to heal all that internally needs to be productive, needs life, needs to change, needs to be born again to experience the wonderful plans of that God full of Love and Goodness.
