RE: Celebrate success instead of envying it

in #life7 years ago

,,I go by the rule of celebrating others deserving of celebration, so that one day, I will be celebrated''.
A couple of days ago I saw interview with some psychology expert in tv and noticed one interesting thing he said: ,,your subconcious doesn't know the difference between you and other people. If you are giving something to somebody, it thinks you just received that gift''. I'm still not sure if this is entirely true, but I think that guy may be onto something - after all, if you are envious of somebody, you are not only confirming his success, but also your failure (you want something that he has and you lack). So if you honestly celebrate somebody's success...maybe you don't have to wait for your celebration? Maybe it happens in exactly same moment?
That way of thinking may be useful to some individuals, I believe.

Sort:

Those words are powerful, I will ponder on it.
