I really liked your photography. You can see the depth of the scar but the tree had the strength to heal to continue its cycle and to grow new green shoots. it is seen that it is a very old tree because of the frondozo that it is. @cathou009

@balcol Yes it is. I found this one while walking up into Mont-Royal park in Montréal. Very old tree.
