This photo perfectly describes how I've been feeling over the past few weeks. I'm not the best at planning and have been struggling to find someone to take my room not to mention also plan my infamous 4.5 month (now 4 month) trip around the world. To say the least, I felt trapped in this unexpectedly sunny city.
Oh and to add stress onto stress, I have been trying to upload the first episode of our brand new series Mothershucker for at least 3 days onto @dtube, and I haven't been successful even once out of the 8 attempts made. It's not like the uploads are quick either, so after 2-3 painstakingly long hours, I'm just left with nothing. HOW ARE WE GONNA TEACH FELLOW STEEMIANS HOW TO SUCK AND SHUCK OYSTERS?! HOWWW?!?! We will be giving it our last shot tonight and if it still fails, looks like we're going to have to switch to @dlive.
However, things have changed for the better, and it seems as if I have found the perfect flatmate to become an angel of Victoria's Secretion (that's our flat's name). So the countdown is on and it finally seems like I will be departing on this trip! Now to start planning everything out and finish preparing everything I'll need over the next 4 months!
Next stop : SAO PAULO!!!!! (Although you're not as warm as I was hoping you'd be, please be warm for me <3 )

Good news with the perfect replacement! So when's your planned departure date now?
I dunno, but it takes so long and sometimes if it finishes uploading but I don't touch it for 30 minutes or so, it forgets that it's uploaded and asks me to upload it. Really really really infuriating, driving us mad. Last attempt currently in progress....fingers crossed!
Sometime before the end of the month, and after Aleks' birthday on the 25th! I'm thinking maybe 29th/30th. As mentioned, not great with planning and... have a lot to pack!!!

We know all too well about the frustration of uploading on DTube - here's a suggestion that worked for us - instead of logging in with SteemConnect, manually log out and log in again. It might seem stupid, but it worked like a charm. Then we got into old problems as the upload would go right until the last 10% and then just stop uploading. At this point, refresh and upload again (we know, it's annoying) and it will work the second time. Make sure the file is not bigger than 2GB. If not, then try DLive (takes only mp4 files) OR put it on YouTube and link it up with a post on here.

Thanks for the suggestion guys! Will give that a try to see if it helps. Luckily we didn't have problems like that, rather it would finish uploading and by the time we saw it had finished and tried to submit it, it would fail. Anyway one final attempt now, as Aleks accidentally closed the tab when uploading yesterday... -_- and if not, it's going on Dlive!

Yes, give it a try and we just posted a video. We realised we might have said log in and log out with your password, but it's with your posting key. This is found on Steemit in 'Wallet', 'Permission' and then there's that button that says 'Show Private Key', click that and copy the posting key and then 'Hide Private Key'. Use that to login on d.tube with your username.
Hopefully, it will work, if not DLive. Hope to see the video when we wake up tomorrow :D
