RE: Easter is coming

in #life6 years ago

I said no big celebration this year... Just dinner and cuddles...
But then my mom was going crazy because she didn't know when to celebrate Easter...
Let me explain... In Italy they celebrate it on 21 April with the Christian Catholics.. But I'm born in Romania and my mom is an Orthodox Christian and they celebrate it on the 28th...

So big big problem here... We live in Italy... My boyfriend is Italian... When should we celebrate it? 🤣

So... I said both🤣

So on 21th we will do a big barbecue and on the 28th will do our traditional food for my mom...
I think it's more stressful thinking about it that doing it 🤣

Hey, @buonalucy.

I like your solution. :) This way, everyone gets to participate on the day they want, and in the way they want. I agree with you, too, that there's no need to stress over what you can just go and do. :)

We'll be celebrating this Sunday, too, in the United States. Hadn't even thought about there being another date. I was thinking it was late enough as it is, since it always moves from year to year. :)
