Well, this is one of those things that comes with being "holier than thou".

So, you go to church, do you penance, and you get pumped with the message that you are better than those heathens out there that aren't praying enough.

Then there is the "proper" way to live your life. And, if you are living proper, doing the proper things, then everything you do is proper. So, there is no need to apologize, because, you did the right thing.

This all adds up, and make many christians not at all christ like.
Plus, they don't read or know their own bible.

Yes that is a huge fallacy. If one priest declares himself holy and the authority that speaks with the divine, then that assumes that everything he does is holy. Yet we can obviously see how corrupt and immoral they can be.

Thus authority, once again fails. It doesnt matter if its religious or political.
