yes there are systems like http://headset.io/ (from the Leafly founders) , https://www.biotrack.com/ , https://www.greenbits.com/ and so on for the retail end. Althought I haven't worked in a state run growery yet most of us use the same system mainly BioTrack THC right now..
I would say give me a personal message and I could get you started but in general it's mostly just confidence, personable attitudes and a willingness to learn. I find they hire more non-stereo -typical types these days and only really are going for trainability and/or mad skills. (Ie: master grower is a master grower no matter how he acts)
There are many. Mostly a good social network for cannabis users as current policy dictates social media websites like facebook, instagram and such be monitoring/deleting cannabis related content on the web. I hope Steemit provides an avenue out of that problem, which i will write about shortly. As far as support services goes in general, it is very complicated process to manage inventory, there are some decent solutions out there such as leafly.com and such, but nothing has really hit a home run yet.
