The teckel (in Spanish), also called dachshund or dachshund, is a canine breed. Its peculiar physiognomy is due to a genetic mutation known as bassetismo, which endows the specimens with short extremities in relation to the size of the body. According to its size and weight it can be classified as standard (9kg-11kg), miniature (4.5kg-6kg) and Kaninchen, the latter is not only characterized by a lower weight and size, but has different physical features. In addition the teckel differs depending on the type of hair, can be hard hair (usually gray), short hair and long hair, these last two can be black with fire red, chocolate brown or harlequin.
They are very loving dogs, faithful and stubborn. I certify it.
