I had a headache last night after one day’s hardworking. When reflecting the whole day, actually I didn’t do too many things. Two regular meetings and some basic summarizing work. That’ it. However, I felt so exhausted and had no idea why my head was exploding.
Now I realized that the problem was that I was thinking too much yesterday about things that I wasn’t supposed to focus on. I was surfing the internet to see how to publish a book, how to write a novel and how to become a self-medium. I wanted to make the best of my spare time to do something rather than rest to make some extra money to cover my loan with annual interest rate over 10%. I was shrouded by the fear of unable to pay off the loans and take care of my family. The key point was that I just started my career and it made more sense to pay more attention to my daily work and figure out how to best perform it and leverage the experience I obtained here to lift up.
Sometimes people just think too much, consuming too much energy in thinking things that have no benefits to them at that moments. The reason to that varies. One common cause may be the desire and envy coming from the surroundings. We want more, as always. We want to be more successful. We want to make more money and we want to be well respected. Because of that, we try to make a change, thinking we may achieve the same results.
Let it go, my friends. Just focus on what you have and what you want to achieve. Keep on one thing that is most important to you. Nobody can be a winner for all. Do you best to earn the respect in the field that you belong. Don’t overthink and let the limited energy dissipate.
Calm down and hold your desire. Everything will be fine eventually.
Happy Tuesday!
