Aw HELL Naw

in #life7 years ago

So the other night I was at a sports bar here in Tucson and it closed at midnight so I had to walk to another bar that was open until 2:00am.  I was passing some furniture stores and there is also an upscale show room of bathroom and kitchen remodels.  I started laughing hysterically when I saw this setup with the toilets side by side.

Imagine sitting shoulder to shoulder with your significant other? DAFUQ!

Is this setup popular in other parts of the world or just in Tucson?

I'm not sure whether this is a wind-up or not, but for the sake of informative replies - and seeing as you have none...

The toilet on the right is a bidet. It's not a toilet, it's more like a shower for washing yourself after using the toilet on the left.

I don't know if it is. I feel like it looks like a regular toilet. I have never really seen a bidet in the United States.

Haha! I've never seen one in the UK. I think the first one I ever saw was on vacation in Spain when I was a child. We washed the sand from our feet in it! LOL

How can you tell by the photo? It sure looks like any other toilet to me.

Bidets do look like toilets. The one in the pic is not exactly the same as the toilet. It's smaller as someone already pointed out.

The main clue, for me, is that no sane person would have side-by-side toilets in a Western bathroom.

They do look like toilets, yes. Keep in mind, this is a display though, its just fun to joke about things every now and then. Honestly, its probably just a smaller sized toilet.

To be honest, I think this is the best use for a bidet, anyway :)

I would agree :)

But you can always leave a seat lid up!

Ummm....where tf is the toilet paper holder 😂😂😂 Thank baby jesus you have the tub and your significant other to make sure youre squeeky clean!

It is right to the left of the left toilet. So if you are on the right on you have to ask the other person to pass you some toilet paper. It would get real weird real fast.

It looks super convenient but so awkward unless you reached some type of super comfortable stage with your significant other for that type of thing. It kind of reminds me of that dual toilet at the Sochi Winter Olympics haha

Man, I don't know if any relationship gets that comfortable. They would have to be high or drunk for this to work. Hahah, I had never seen the picture from Sochi. Very odd but there we have the answer. Sochi is weird like Tucson. LOL

I think it can. I used Google to look for people who actually have this setup in their homes. Thankfully, I didn't find any yet but there were a couple posts from couples who were thinking about using that setup. The Sochi thing is even weirder since that's a public bathroom/restroom.

LOL... maybe it saves time :)

That is true! Kind of like having the his and hers sinks. And look at the wine glasses over at the tub. A perfect romantic night!

Your a funny dude haha :)

Haha, I think that's just a Tucson thing dude 🤣
Never seen any bathroom setup looking like that!

Hahhah, Yeah Tucson if just a bunch of crazies. LOL

It's really starting to seem that way, and they can all thank you for uploading it online LOL

"Sup girl, single or a deuce?"

Hahaha, I could see that being asked!

Haha, one is even smaller for the ladies.

I know. And look at the wine glasses for the beautiful couple as well.

I laughed so hard I almost cried when I saw this. Of course I was many beers deep at that point. :-)

nice post

@iqbalmaulana

Well are you sure they meant for this setup to be shown as a whole? I think they just decided to display two different toilets next to each other.

I think it is just showing two separate toilets but I'm just making fun of it as if this would be the configuration inside the house. Hahhah

Seems like I've been a bit too literal, once again allowing humor to fly over my head... :/

I think its best we assume they were setting up the ultimate romantic bathroom scene, minus the two people with stomach pains.

Bidet?

It doesn't look like it but I'm not really sure to be honest.
