...Not too lost to be save

This a story, a life changing testimony, of a dreadful, wayward young man who encountered Jesus in the prison and got saved on the day is death verdict was to be passed.

David grew up with a woman who all along he thought was his mother. The woman maltreated him so badly to the extent that he started asking himself if truly she was his mother. Whenever he does something wrong as a child, he will be tortured like a criminal, and atimes will be denied meal for that day. There were occasions that she will even chase him from home for days.

The maltreatment got worse; David was obliged to confide to a neighbour over the issue. It was then the neighbour told him that of a truth the woman wasn't his mother, his mother passed while giving birth to him, that God took the mother. As a child, he didn't really fathom what he meant by God took her, David got so upset that day, wondering why would God take his mother and took a decision that because God took the mother, he will never do anything that will make God happy. He took the vow within.

As he grew up he became very notorious young man. Going for rubbery, assassination, rape; committing a lot of crimes, until he finally landed in jail for the assassination of a business. He was placed on awaiting trial for 2 years. When they finally visited his case he was found guilty, his case was concluded; the penalty, as written on his file, was to be executed by hanging. David didn't know about this.

One day, some Christian fellow, came on prison ministry to minister the word of God to them. After several visits anyway. David got an encounter that day and gave his life to Jesus Christ. Became a well known born again in the prison. Evangelising the gospel of Christ in the prison; he became known as a pastor. All prison warders call him pastor, while still awaiting trial, a new prison commander was transferred to head the prison, David found favour in the man's site, who went to dig out David file, and saw the conclusion on is file- to be executed by hanging. The commander invited David over to his office to ask him if he knew about the conclusion of his case as written on his file, he said know and that was how the commander told him. David wept for days and declared a prayer and fasting, to seek the Almighty God intervention.

Six months later, his case was revisited, a date was fixed for final verdict. While waiting for the judge for the final judgement, David praying for God to save him, all of a sudden the presence of the Almighty unfailable God, the greatest deliverer showed up.
When the judge finally stood to pass the judgement, she paused for awhile and finally she said, David you have been acquitted, loose him and let him go.
God spared his life and today David is a great ambassador, an evangelist for Christ. Glory be to God.
