Greetings Dear Readers;
.
Hope you are well.
What a Principle we have today.
Because learning takes a bit of inculcation or loads of inculcation to create those memory pathways in the brain's right lobe...we have this principle....'Learning must exceed the rate of forgetting', which is what it takes to learn something new.
Repetition....sometimes we are just fine with it and other times we think...'We know it already.'
However, many times when we set out to put our learning into action....we find we must read the instructions again, or consult our notes from class, etc.. For the simple reason that it has not yet been established on our memory pathways through repetition.
Let's give this Principle a think.
Thank you for dropping by. ^__^

Kind Regards,

Principles are timeless truths as relevant today as they were yesterday and will be tomorrow.

The Red Rose Painting is painted on a note card...using D'Arches Watercolour paper 140lb,Not Press, Winsor&Newton Watercolour tube paint, graphite pencils and sable watercolour brushes.
Such a beautiful artwork, thank you for sharing it @bluejay 🙏
Regarding the principle that you also shared, I think that it's a powerful reminder that learning isn't just about gathering knowledge, but ensuring it sticks with us through repetition and practice. Your insights really resonate, sometimes we all need that extra reinforcement to truly master something new.
I wish you have a great day ahead ☀️🌻
Greetings @curamax ,
Thank you for dropping by with these kind words regarding the post. ^__^
Happy to hear you understood the principle, it is a good one especially for those subjects we at times consider a 'slog'....but necessary.
Kind Regards,
Bleujay
It’s my pleasure. I’m learning more as I read your posts, keep sharing 🙏
I think for an average person, one needs to constantly repeat stuff for it to store in their core memory. For me, I do better when I learn through some form of experience
Greetings @josediccus ,
Lovely...its true everyone learns differently....through the eye gate, ear gate and experience....it all contributes to learning and repetition.
Appreciate your kind reply. ^__^
Cheers, Bleujay
You're right, it's surprisingly unique for everyone
My learning has gone into overdrive over the last few years or so. Always fun to learn or understand new things!
Greetings @daveks ,
Very kind of you to drop by. ^__^
Happy to hear of your experience....being the periennial student is a good thing...at least that is what I call myself. ^__^ It brings great capacity for life as well as knowledge.
Kind Regards,
Bleujay
Beautiful Red Roses friend and blessed new week for you
Greetings @ferod23 ,
So happy to hear the good news of @hjrrodriguez 's sister...^__^
Thank you for your kind words with regard to the roses.
Appreciate your kind wishes for the week and same for you.
It you say The word 'blessing'....then I must be sure and tell you of the source of that blessing...in case you are not aware.
The real 'blessing' comes with faith in Jesus Christ....Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation. It is the Good News!
Kind Regards,
Bleujay
I really like this transformation of a live flower arrangement into a watercolor work :)
The principle you are talking about is sometimes very shaky, especially when you are dealing with already picked flowers and their oblivion is rapidly approaching. The artist really has to learn quickly, but a camera can come to the rescue, which will stop the decay.
I doubt that we would hear a Stradivarius violin if there were varnish. which covers the violin would dry longer than the life of the master himself :) !BEER
Greetings @barski ,
Thank you for your kind words regarding the icing....I wish it always worked out that way.
Yes...indeed...however I am grateful for the camera. I have two pears that I would like to sketch from real life atm which the camera needs to save... ^__^
You said....
