Greetings Dear Readers;

.
Hope this post finds you well.

Here we have a principle which helps steer us clear of what can end in great misery.

In trying to create unhappiness for others, thinking that it will bring satisfaction, vindication, happiness to ourselves...we often end up only creating misery for ourselves.

How do we go about trying to create unhappiness for others....through gossip, maligning, vindictive acts, etc., thinking this will be payback...this will make us happy, when at best it becomes a dead end and at worst, causes us to become bitter.

Perhaps this principle deserves a think.

Thank you for dropping by. ^__^

Kind Regards,

.
Bleujay

Principles are timeless truths presented here for our ponderance.

Being on the receiving end of some of this, I am refusing to manifest unhappiness or even calling out the one who is trying to build their happiness from me.

Great photo by the way.

Greetings @ctrpch ,

Sorry to hear you have experience with the receiving end of the principle, on the other hand you have a better understanding of it than most, to be sure.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the icing.

Kind Regards, Bleujay

Thank you for your service as a witness!

What I like about your blogs is that you share beautiful photos and paintings ; and you also share insightful life principles that are relatable and thought provoking.

And I agree that we can never experience true happiness if others will be unhappy in the process. We can never savor the true feeling of success if there are people who will lose their livelihood in the process. We should strive to achieve true happiness.

Thanks for sharing thoughts about this principle, I learn something new today. ☀️

Greetings @curamax ,

Thank you for dropping by....appreciate your kind words regarding the post. ^__^

Whilst I basically agree with what you have written here...I think the principle is addressing another issue...below is a part of the post which may explain it better.....

'How do we go about trying to create unhappiness for others....through gossip, maligning, vindictive acts, etc., thinking this will be payback...this will make us happy, when at best it becomes a dead end and at worst, causes us to become bitter.'

True happiness is found in our search for truth....Who/What is the source of truth? God and His word...the Bible...

Happy to hear you enjoy the principles.

Kind Regards, Bleujay

Thank you, @bleujay, for the thoughtful response and for sharing that deeper perspective. I appreciate how you’ve connected the search for happiness with a more profound understanding of truth. Your insights definitely add more depth to the conversation.

I’ll keep reflecting on these principles... thanks again for the wisdom you’ve shared.

!INDEED

A sunflower with a ladybug is a great end to a walk by a beautiful pond, near which it is very difficult to be without a fishing rod in your hands :)
Have a blessed day! !BEER

Greetings @barski ,

Indeed....those birds are there for fish and we should be as well. ^__^

However we shall default to being 'fishers of men'.

Thank you for your kind wishes and the beer!

Along these lines, one of my personal quotable quotes has always been "Anger is an acid that eats you from the inside out."

It's similar to your stated principle here.

But that doesn't stop me from being angry about some other people's bullshit inflicted into my own life. I just take antacids because of it now. ;)

Greetings @sircork ,

Thank you for dropping by. Appreciate your kind reply....so true.

More Principles incoming...Adversity versus Stress;

Adversity is inevitable...Stress is optional.

Adversity is what circumstances do to us....Stress is what we do to ourselves.

Good thing you have antacids. ^__^

Cheers, Bleujay

Way yyyyyyyy way back in the day, when I built MSP Waves, my first show was a school for how to be a minnow on the way to dolphin on the chains, but it was really a weekly philosophy class about such principles disguised as a tech class about the chain and blogging skills. Very Zen and the Art of Hiving (then steeming at the time)

Perhaps you have a live stream in your own future of that sort :)

I launched https://HiveStreams.Live just last night in fact, so its waiting for you!

Thank you @sircork ,

I will give your creation a look....sounds lovely! ^__^

I am sure there are those who will take right to it.

You know who may be interested in this approach to Hive is @ph1102. He is quite an engaging writer and enjoys going live with Hivers.

Bleujay's approach to Hiving...is low key...simply to prompt people to have a think about something they have perhaps never given a thought to before.

To let them know these principles have been around forever, used by great leaders of people in the past and we can as well. Maxims, Axioms, Principles were a favourite of the Romans and Greeks in the 5th Century BC....They have stood the test of time.

Thank you for the opportunity to speak on these things. ^__^

Wishing you well in your endeavours, Bleujay

I low key kinda dig low key, but I'm not very good at it personally.

'To each his own'....we would not desire for everyone to be alike, would we..

Bleujay is rather like a cat...if things get too boisterous, etc. ..the cat is away...she will be back when things calm down. ^__^

Your cat kilometers may vary.

Your paintings are incredible, truly friend, the work you do is impressive. I imagine it takes him a long time to make these paintings.

Greetings @hjrrodriguez

Here's hoping you are feeling better.

Appreciate your kind comment regarding the artwork...happy to hear you found it enjoyable. This one did take a bit more time...you are right. ^__^

Kind Regards,

Bleujay
