Another way the principle could be said....Preferences are subject to change/not real......Absolutes are not.
ie. preference/absolute.......I would have my vanity graced with violets everyday.....however....Violets are seasonal flowers.
ie. preference/absolute......The preferred colour is bleu today....tomorrow it may be yellow.......however Bleu is a colour on the colour wheel today....tomorrow....forever....as is yellow.
