RE: I wear my baby!

in #life7 years ago

I did. All of them and we all loved it. I even started a series of posts here on steemit on different kinds of carriers during the babywearing week but I never got to finish that series during do my illness but I've put it on my to-do list for this year to finish them.
We used slings, woven wraps, ssc and mei tais, but I've never tried an elastic wrap like the one you have. I'll be sure to link to this post when I continue my series.

That's great! I have only tried one carrier that straps on, but it wasn't comfortable. The Moby wrap is very comfy!

Wich one did you try? Buckle carriers (Soft structured carriers or SCCs) can be very uncomfortable if they don't offer good support for both the baby and the mom (or dad). You can maybe find a sling library nearby and try different types of carriers out. Elastic wraps like moby tend to become uncomfortable as the baby grows bigger (heavier). If you like wrapping, woven wraps are good. I had a Croatian brand but I am sure there are great ones where you are from too.

I tried an Infantnio sash tying one with my son, but he didn't like it. And then I tried a Chicco strap one that just didn't feel secure enough.
Thanks for the tip! If and when the Moby one gets uncomfortable, I will look into woven ones!

If you decide to give ssc another go try ergonomically optimal ones like Tula or Ergobaby. Good luck with babywearing.

Thank you! :)
