Great article, and i believe many of us have falling into that trap of imaginative community support when doing things to the others. The fact is that you should still do it, just you learn not to expect nothing in return. Then you are not disappointed at least, and feel great for doing what you like. Community will only support when you succeed and they can benefit from you. Well... in most cases, there are always exceptions.
