the power of words

Sometimes we do not realize the power of words, whether to do good to someone or to hurt.

Mainly before speaking or criticizing someone we have to think that we do not know what that same person may be going through.

There are comments that can brighten someone's life and there are even cases where they can save a person's life.

But also, unfortunately there are other people who make comments to destroy you and sink you, it is very sad to see how there are people who do that.

How can you feel happy seeing someone wrong, many times we do not know what we do, do not know if that person who was tomorrow decided to tell her she was fat for days without eating or looking in a mirror, so that someone more than surely does not know her come to tell him that comment, or that person you accused of being rough or irresponsible, you do not know if he has to work all day for his family, because, because of other people's things, his parents can not.

If you do not know what another person is going through and want to make a critical or cruel comment, keep it, normally humans have that cruel comments are easy to say but they are very hard to forget.

Please, if at any time you happen to want to say some mocking or destructive comment to someone, think about it 10 times and think about how you would feel when receiving that same comment.

This post reminds me of the song - Moment of Truth by Gangstarr.

Listen Here

Actions have reactions, don't be quick to judge
You may not know the hardships people don't speak of
It's best to step back, and observe with couth
For we all must meet our moment of truth
- GURU (Keith Elam)

The other thing that this post makes me think of is the post I made the other night - Patience is a Virtue
