We've all seen the news of the latest shooting in a US school, where a young 'lone wolf' shooter takes out a few teachers and half of his class mates. The latest in the 1 in every 60 hours since 1st Jan. 20018.
And we're also all horrified that this has actually happened again, and continues to happen, time and time again, in a country that holds itself as the vanguard of liberty, and we continue to say that something must be done about it.
Something seriously has to be done about this situation, and pointing the finger of blame at immigrants, and would be terrorists is deceitfully waving a cloak of confusion and distraction over the public debate
We all treasure life, and freedom. And we all appreciate having a constitution. We all want to be able to go about our business feeling safe and secure, and not have to keep looking over our shoulder.
Some people say that 'mental illness' is the cause. Some people say that 'gun ownership' is the cause. Some 'conspiracy theorist' nuts even claim that 'gun control' nuts are behind the shootings in an effort to have gun control enforced. A kind of Paradoxical Intention, if you like.
What do you think the cause is / causes are?
What are your theories?
What would you do to limit, and even stop the mass spate of shootings?
