No, doing it all to the glory of God doesn't lead you into doing right. You could commit adultery to the glory of God.
No, knowing right from wrong isn't "a bad thing". It's extremely important. What's more important than knowing if what you're saying or doing violates God's commands????
It should be obvious that you don't break the commandments. And that if you have to keep thinking of ways why your actions are OK then most likely what you're doing is wrong.
I really appreciate your view @barncat. It's true, God's command tells us what's right different from wrong and that His words should we abide. However, don't get it twisted. If what we do is not tethered to God in whatsoever manner, we can be sure how delicate such may be. Being adulterous is never associated with God, neither can it give Him glory and our conscience bears witness of this.
Jesus Christ our Lord also told us that He that is not with Him is against Him. So, I believe that glorifying Him in all we do definitely associate us with Him.
