Most native animals live in the bushland away from the cities. We do get things like possums and such in cities, but you don't see them roaming around in packs. I guess there are a few stray dogs and cats that get picked up by the animal shelters, but again not many really.
Wow! I'm from Australia. We don't have a problem with strays at all, just a lot of native animals. They don't hang out in the cities though lol.
