I LOVE it that you're seeing the value in meeting up with people in real life. In my opinion, doing so adds so much value to this platform. If we're literally using it to create real world connection then the concept of social media has improved our lives!
I'm curious @flamingirl, how do you usually go about setting up these events? Do you just post the details here or do you use meetup or some other event organizing app?
I try to add my own values to those of Steemit and I believe that these kinds of meetings make the platform grow and improve the quality of the exchanges. I am looking for an effect to add value to this platform and for the moment the result is satisfactory for everyone!
Yes I comment only on steemit, to target my audience. I write the information progressively, using the # 1, # 2, .... depending on the progress of things. I am in the process of finalizing the search for the place and setting a date. I will post as soon as possible all the information to allow people to register;).

Very cool @flamingirl! I live in the United States currently but I've been to Barcelona before and would love to go again. I will keep you and your meetups (could call them steemups lol) in mind the next time I find myself leaping over the big pond ;-)
