This is me i have figured out how to upload pics, go me ha ha

Where do I start about myself its something that I'm not used to writing about, I suppose its like trying to write a profile for a dating site and you never know where to start, I don't envy those people writing something eye catching to interest someone, but I suppose its the new world now where a lot of people don't go out to socialise much with working or a family.

Anyway my name is Andrew and I am of a certain age all faculties are in good order so that's good, I live in Scotland in a place called Gretna and no its not Gretna green that is a mile from where I live but the majority of weddings are held in Gretna even tho people will say we got married in Gretna Green, it does get a bit annoying that our place loses its identity.

I have lived in Gretna for most of my life, I was born in North Wales and moved up here when I was about six, but I still class North Wales as my home, maybe one day I will move back down there.

I have three wonderful kids and a spare one but that is a story for another time, I have three amazing grandkids and with them and my kids they are the reason I wake up everyday and breathe, they are all my reasons to be here on this place we call earth.

I have had over the years had many interests and I still keep up with them, I love art and music and I love my motorbike tha comes directly under my kids and grandkids, I love the freedom of being on the road and meeting new people, I go to as many rallies as I can get too and meet up with old friends and make new ones, the biking community is like one big happy family, its a shame that it has a stigma even tho we are in the 21st century, they do amazing things and contribute to many charities and help and look after each other in times of need.

I have figured out how to upload photos now and I am well chuffed with myself, well when I say figured it out I had some help from @karenb54 who has been brilliant guiding me through this journey of steemit and I am so enjoying myself, I sit and think before I head off to work what I can write before I go out and it is so relaxing and can be so enjoyable if writing down memories.

And last but not least one of my favourite pics, it is my daughters wedding and I had the pleasure of the company of some of my mates and we escorted their wedding car to the church, she was fair made up with what we did for her and when I was escorting her out of the car from the house, all the bikes were revving up as loud as they could, the smile on her face is something I will never forget.

So that's a little insight to who I am and what this old mug looks like, I have many a story to tell a bit like the old programme on telly Jackanory ha ha, so if you like what you read pop over every now and then, sit down with a cuppa and I will tell you some tales.

One more thing before I go, remember a motorbike is hard to see so when your out and about take that extra few seconds to look out for them, a second can save a life, so as the advert says THINK BIKE .
