I am interested and want to know more. Mostly I am concerned about being a single mom with a 7 year old in another country. There is a LOT that I would need to know about childcare, school, parenting groups, etc. Also, if I came there it would be for the full school year for him, since it just doesn't make sense to take him out of school in Oct and bring him back in Feb.

We've had several families who have spent time here. This is the open source version of an living. It's simply up to each individual what works for them. |For the most part there is really little difference in the day to day living. Unschooling is the predominate belief of those in the community with children. Within the community we can provide probably all or most of the information you need.
