Difference between THC & CBD
Hello steemit family! Today I will be answering a question @tenosqueen has asked: "What are the effects of CBD and THC in the body"
THC?
THC stands for Tetrahydrocannabinol. It is one of the most known cannabinoids in the marijuana plant. This molecule binds to receptors in our brain and causes a psychoactive effect also known as "being medicated" or "high". Although many think CBD is the molecule that possesses most medical attributes, it is THC the one that has the most impact in symptom relief. THC has been helping people tolerate pain, increase appetite, alleviate nausea, balance mood disorders, sleep better and more.
CBD?
CBD stands for Cannabidiol. This cannabinoid is also pretty well known. It is non psychoactive so it won't give you that "high" feeling. As a matter a fact, it has been observed that CBD can counter act the psychoactive effects of THC. CBD has been helping people alleviate inflammation, stress, anxiety, seizures and more
