Cannabis has been known to cure long list of conditions and diseases for several decades. Harry J. Anslinger started the cannabis prohibition in 1937. Before that cannabis was used as medicine.

Main reasons why it was made illegal:

• it gave reason to deport mexican immigrants
• it was used to arrest hippies and peace lovers because war is business
• paper, steel, oil, alcohol industry would lose huge profits
• private prisons get money for every imprisoned person so keeping cannabis illegal will keep money flowing to private prisons
• pharmaceutical industry (Big Pharma) would lose customers because cannabis is cheaper and effective (Patient Cured is a Customer lost)
