It is also important to expand your association. Find mentors and coaches in your area of expertise or career and connect with these people. These are the people who have gone ahead of you and they have tremendous experience. You can cut short years of learning by learning from these valuable people. A mentor can hold your hand and guide you through the process of success, he/she will not do it for you but they will be there for you when no one else can stand your crazy dreams.

John Maxwell also teaches that, "If you find yourself calling all the shits on a group then you are in the wrong group." Successful people join groups that have out-grown them. If you join a team of five and you are the least among the five, then you have an opportunity to grown as you learn from the five. If you join a team of five and you are the greatest, the five will be gaining from you and with time you will all be the same. When you out-grow a group, look for another group bigger than you to help you grow more.
