Insomnia is the inability to fall asleep and/or get enough sleep, which can eventually cause many physical and emotional problems. It's estimated that approximately 95% of Americans deal with bouts of insomnia during their lifetime. Chronic insomnia lasts for a month or longer. Curing both acute and chronic insomnia often requires a multi-factorial approach including reviewing your medications and daily routines as well as changing your sleeping habits and diet.
