Chainging money from fiat to cryptos is not a revolution. Rather it's an evolution of money. An evolution of one of the most fundamental technologies of our species.
This idea is one that I first heard from @jeff, and it's a beautiful one.
Revolutions are circles
All throughout history we've had revolution after revolution after revolution. How has that worked for us?
Again and again, we get sick of the people in power abusing their power so we throw them out and install new leaders. It doesn't ever take very long before that new leader (or their kids, grandkids, appointees, successors or whatever) abuse their power too. So we throw them out and install a new leader. Round and round and round.
LET'S STOP!!
Let's move past this nonsense and evolve.
This is what cryptocurrencies are. They are the human species evolving by drastically improving the technology we call money.
We evolve when we improve. Agreed, that Bitcoin is an evolution, as in a change towards decentralized blockchain cryptocurrency money. But at the same time, it is also a revolution in the sense of it being a drift away from Rothschild and others in this info war and everything.
The arguer in me has to counter by saying that although you're right that we're drifting away from the control of the old powers it's still an evolution rather than revolution because we're not installing new leaders. We're moving forward in a way we never have before.
