RE: Vlog #45: Is it better to stay anonymous when you can create money out of thin air?

I think people are waking up and seeing the huge potential into steem.
Over time, from blogs and comments, you will probably start getting less Steem as it gets more valuable so it is probably the best time to invest now.
I don't have much money but I'm trying to get as much steem power as I can.
If SBD rises again, I'll convert all of it into steem.
Steem On!

You rarely find discussions about buying steem on Steemit. (A bit ironic.) It’s all about earning it from scratch. I think this is largely a result of poor information.

If it is worth earning, its worth buying!

It's definitely ironic considering how many discussions there are on here about buying and holding cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. I do think people are misinformed about it. It might not exactly zoom up in price 500% like Ethereum did a couple months ago. However, it is true that having Steem power is almost like having the power print money.

I think for many people the game of earning STEEM is their strongest impression of what Steemit is all about. The idea to buy coin directly comes... later? Or maybe never?

The parallel is mining. A lot folks like the whole concept; that’s why they bother with the headaches. But for small timers, it’s almost always more sensible to just buy coin, especially if you believe in its future.
