Ohhh, I did not know this. Sorry.
Éxito, saludos desde Venezuela.
¡Muchas gracias por tus comentarios!
Me gusta mucho para mí.
I had to go check the previous parts. It really is great to see you treasure the memories of your Aunt, even without seeing her. Incorporating her lipstick into your bracelet was so creative and nice of you.
Your love for your aunt is really inspiring, pure and genuine. It would have been really easy to give up on finding her kids after a few trial with no success, but you didn't give up. Will be sure to check back to read the whole learning and reunion story. It is always great to see families reunited again and living in love.
I love your Aunt's spirit, she was a woman filled with life. She looks beautiful in the photo above. No wonder she struck something in you.
When i first read about the lipstick initially... I wondered how it would look! Maybe it would be more functional - rather than beautiful??? I didn't know.
and then i saw it!!!!!!!! oh my gosh - i want one so badly hehehehe
And I agree - seeing his determination!!! Wow - so inspirational :)
He is going to be interviewed this week for winning the "Inspired Dreems" contest :) You should come hear him :) I think it's gonna be awesome! (and there will be some prizes to be won! Anyone who has read all 3 parts of his story - will have a good chance to win! hehehehe)
Yes, so good grandma told me, that it is a lipstick. Otherwise I would have had no clue it is one. It seems that in the 1950s most little things of daily use had a much higher value, than today.
Somebody told me, that it can be refilled ... I loved this idea so much to reuse and refill it. Isn't it that much better to have something that beautiful staying with you.
Ohhh, I cannot wait to have the interview with you ... blush again ... such an honour you have asked me :)
i love the idea of a refillable lipstick! so many times that I have used a lipstick and used it up.... and when I go back to the store to find that color... they don't have it! gah.
i'd love to have a place that would have the right formula to refill me on my favorite colors hehehehe!
interview - wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! :)
I mean I don't use any lipstick ... lol ... but this idea of refilling is so cool .... why does no one produce this .... so sad ....
Its just amazing, isn't it? I wouldn't mind having one too but sadly, there isn't enough to go round.. Its apiece to behold!
Where is the interview going to take place, I would love to hear him!
Hey @audreybits! All the info is here on this post! :)
Anutu's Interview
Hope to see you there!!! :)
Thank you @dreemsteem !
You answer means a lot to me @audreybits , I have hoped so much, that my story inspires.
I also hoped, that it encourages not to give up at an early point of time, when it is about something, that is important for one.
As I am German (but feel more like a child of this planet, that knows no borders ...) I tried to find the proper words in English. The more I am happy, that you enjoyed the read.
Thank you again so much!
Yeah, it did encourage me, I am glad you made the decision to share your story here.
A child that knows no border; I love that spirit! I hope to be more like that, really.
You did a great job with your words, it must have been a struggle.
My pleasure!
So happy it did. Took me nearly 20 years to speak about it.
Yes, a child knows no borders ...

Good Evening @misterakpan.
Thank you so much, this is a huge honour for me!!!
Here is some background about me and my story:
I am an upcycling artist and interior designer, but since ever, I loved to write. It took me about 20 years to finally write about the life of my aunt and my family. I needed the time to reflect on all the lessons of life and love, that I have learned and that came with it. I am happy that I finally opened up and now tell it. I will for sure continue her story, that became so much an important part of my life.
Thank you again so much for featuring my work in the Author Showcase.
Thank you for that contribution. I hope you liked the showcase post, and met other amazing creators :)
This is so kind of you. I loved the showcase post! Checked out all the other amazing work of my fellow creators already. A beautiful selection.
Have to check out the Curie server. I try to curate and support quality content as much as possible and I am always happy when I meet authors with the same wave length.
Thank you again for your marvelous work!

This is rare. The beauty of this lady. The love behind your words. The shiver it caused at 36+ C degrees outside. You caught me in a haze! Marvelous.
So glad you enjoy it. I will for sure continue. It was an adventure of a special kind and it still is ... thank you so much again!!!
Wow, I've caught you somewhere in the middle and I'm captivated by this beautiful journey, quest. I will have to find the rest and piece them together.
It sounds like the adventure of a lifetime, and I'm curious how much of that led to a deeper search within.
Thank you for this very rare and special peek into this part of your life. I love how you tell your story.
Thank you @anutu
Thank you so much @kchitrah ! Yes, it's an adventure of a lifetime ... I had no idea how much an adventure this was when I started my research and did no longer accept not getting any information from my family. And it is still an inspiration for me ... still today

I finally got the time to sit down abd read all 3 parts. What an adventure this journey has turned out to be and it all started out with a photograph and a lipstick. Honestly. Its not what i expected at all from the title but im glad i took the time out to read it.
Im glad you persevered and never gave up!! Now you have a story worth telling!! I can't wait to see how it all ends!!

Thank you so much @mimismartypants ...
1958 then,
...it began when I was a child, followed me until I was grown up a little bit more in 1995,
surprised me in 1998/1999,
put me into a challenge from 1999 onwards until today
... there are so many mysteries and secrets that were poured out on me even after 1999 ...
xx
And all this come from a single picture and a little boy who kept asking questions!! Keep asking questions dude! never change! Look where it led to! Nothing short of amazing!
Oh yeah, I will never stop asking, never stop questioning as well! For sure! Promised!
When I started writing about it, I had no idea about the length or how many parts. Now, there are so many more pictures and stories coming up, that form the full story of my aunt.
For me it feels so good writing about it and thinking about it again.
xx
Gives you chance to reflect and add some additional insight i suppose!

Yes, definitely!!!
My family would and has not told my anything about any family members except the ones I have met. They always told me there is nothing to know and tell. You always want to know your family so you know where you came from. I am doing some research but my family is no help at all.
Yes, this is not easy. Not knowing your family, where you came from, feels to me like robbed roots. I think roots - to know who is your family in detail, is so important.
Wow, you are determined. I can't wait for the rest of the stories. You dropped that teaser right at the beginning, that will make us all come back for more....
Thank you so much @coinsandchains! Yes, it means so much to me. Having the chance to tell my story here after meanwhile 20 years now. Thank you so much for your feedback, this truly means a lot to me.
Just published part four .... here it is: https://steemit.com/life/@anutu/a-guy-and-a-lipstick-part-4-what-i-learned-about-unity-and-love
Have a great day!
Awesome, I will try to jump over and read it later tonight. I'm curious what you found now. Family, history, and genealogy always fascinate me.
This fascinates me too!!!
Have a great great evening!
