Nathia Gali, The Magical Nature Fiesta

Charming and one of the most famous tourism places, Nathiagali is located in the District of Abbottabad of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. This resort like hill station is not less than a magical nature fiesta. Indeed the place is known for its mesmerizing beauty and also for easy accessibility.

Location Via Murree and Islamabad

You have to drive for one hour from Both Murree and Abbottabad to reach Nathia Gali which has a distance of 34 kilometers from here. It’s a mi midway between both places. From Islamabad, NathiaGali is on the drive of 2 h 50 mins having a distance of 95.6 km by Kashmir Road.

What Not to Miss in Nathia Gali?-

There are tremendous activities to do and places to visit near Nathia Gali. Don’t miss these when you are planning for hitting a tour for there.

The residence for Governour in hill station, this Governor’s house is located at the main bazar of NAthia Gali. Although, this great architecture based building is not allowed for tourists but its surrounding scenic areas and trails are been enjoyed for visitors.

As Nathia Gali is located at 8,200 feet, including other expedirions the hiking on Miran Jani is breathtaking which takes 6-7 hour to reach. This point offers one of the best views Nathia Gali.

Dunga Gali pipeline track ;eads towards the pipeline from Donga Gali to Ayubia which is based on distance of 4 kilometers and takes 40 to 50 minutes having altitude around 8,200 ft. It’s quite easy trek to choose for small hiking period comprises of natural scenes, sunshine, snow and rain as well.

Nathiagali to Mukshpuri Top is at 4 km and 4 kilometer originating near Shangrila Hotel in Nathiagali passes through thick pines forests and goes to 2800 meters ft hugh Mushkpuri top.

Another amazing piece of architecture not to miss is Nathia Gali’s Church. Also built by British Rule, the wood-framed church is a main attraction in Nathia Gali. It is surrounded by lush green grass which adds to its beauty.

A highly recommended place, Green Spot is located on Pakistan Air Force base Kalabagh but families and tourists are welcome for a minimal fee. This is a wonderful, relaxing area where the lush green lawns covered with wild daisies is a great place to take amazing pictures. There is a nearby small café that serves coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks.

Another amusing part of memorable trip is Dunga Gali which welcomes tourists right after their tour to main Nathia Gali. This small hill road leads towards famous Ghora Gali.

From its origin, Ghoragali has been associated with its resortic significance. The British colonialists and troops used this place to rejoice themselves with natural scenery. Ghoragali features 1,100 m long chairlift that goes from Ghoragali to Pindi Point. This famous Gali of Murree covers an area of 150 acres, and is 4 km from Murree and 57 km from Islamabad. The main college of Murree is also situated here named Lawrence college Ghoragali, Murree.

Now, ahead there’s Ayubia to explore with all its natural beauties and chair lift adventure. There’s also amazing Ayubia national park, which is name after Ayub Khan, the second president of Pakistan. This national park is the resortic complex and is surrounded by the small resorts of Khaira Gali, Changla Gali, Khanspur, Ghora Dhaka and Galyat. Its truly mesmerizing spot to visit.

Lalazar Safari Park in Nathiagali is located on the Lalazar mountaintop at a height of 9,000 feet. After parking the car, you can climb the winding track, which passes through pine, fir and deodar forest, on foot or on a horse. It takes about 25 minutes to reach the Safari Park.
