Lots of people have at least one social media account. Everywhere we go, we'll find people who prefer to stare at their gadget instead of having conversation with people next to them, they ignore their surrounding. Facebook, twitter, or instagram have taken our time and social life!
It's clear that social media makes people become anti social instead.
What about steemit? Well, to be honest, I see no difference. In fact, steemit takes more of its user's time than other social media. On other social media, you just post everthing without thinking about quality and value of the post, but that kind of behaviour won't work on steemit. Users must consider about the value and quality of their post. To make good and valuable post, users need to make good writing and that is when they spend their time mostly. God, I spend nearly an hour just to post this short writing.
Whether you are aware or not, social media makes us lazy to interact actively with our surrounding, we ignore people in real life, especially the ones with us. Ironic, isn't it?
