It is still science fiction, but the idea of billionaire Eilon Masak, combined with the idea of another student's feverish mind, can make the journey from hotel to hotel abroad easy and fast and without packing the suitcase. For guests to move from hotel to
hotel at the speed of sound without leaving the room.
Hyperloop is an advanced transportation system developed for several years by billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, described by him as a combination of a Concorde aircraft, an electromagnetic cannon and an air hockey table.
The system is based on compressed air technology, where a passenger capsule can travel at up to 1,200 km / h in a low-pressure tube without the need for fuel, but the system is not yet fully operational, but the concept is in advanced stages of development.
The Hyperloop Hotel was the winner of the student category in the radical inventions competition. The idea-maker, Brendan Seibrecht, an architecture student at Nevada University in Las Vegas, offers 13 hotels across the US using the Musk Hyperlink system.
However, unlike the idea of Musk's original hyperlop, Seibrecht's grandiose program of capsules would not be passenger cars, but the hotel rooms themselves. Guests will be able to travel through 13 hotels in some of the largest cities in the US: Boston, New York, Washington, Nashville, Chicago, Austin, Santa Fe, Denver, Los Angeles, Las Vegas , San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.
According to the plan, all the hotels will be connected to the Hyperlink system developed by Minsk, and the hotel's mobile rooms will be transported through it. The entire room booking, check-in and check-out process can be done via an application on a smartphone and without leaving the room at all.
It is estimated that the cost of constructing the Hyperlop will be between $ 8 million and $ 10 million, and will be based on sea freight containers that will be redesigned as luxurious rooms. Each unit will include a work area, a living room, a bedroom and a toilet shower. One night at the Hyperlop Hotel, including a move to another hotel on the Web, is expected to be $ 1,200, Seibrecht said.
The technology needed to build the Hyperloop hotel does not yet exist, but Cybrecht estimates that the idea could be implemented within five to 10 years.
This is not Musk's first crazy idea that he recently announced that he is working on a project where computer parts will be integrated into the human brain.
Amazing. What an idea! I would have some safety issues though:))
