The liver is a vital organ which regulates many important metabolic functions and is responsible for maintaining homeostasis of the body (Enas AKM, 2012). It plays a vital role in xenobiotics metabolism and is responsible for protection of human body against adverse effect of drugs, chemicals toxin, bacteria, virus and parasite. Hence, in the process of these activities liver itself is subjected to variety of diseases and disorders and obviously needs protection (Rajkapoor BY, et al, 2008). So far no effective treatments in conventional or synthetic medicine that gives protection to the liver against damage or helps to regenerate hepatic cells (Chattopadhyay RR, 2003). Because of this fact efforts are being made to find suitable curative agents in natural products for the treatment of liver diseases (Bhandarkar M. Khan, 2004).
A number of chemical agents and drugs which are used on a routine basis produce cellular as well as metabolic liver damage (Thomas SH, 1993). Most of hepatotoxic chemicals affected liver cells mainly by inducing lipid peroxidation and oxidative stress in liver. Chemicals such as CCl4 get converted into reactive toxic metabolites by hepatic microsomal cytochrome P450 (Buwa SS et al, 2001). CCl4 catabolised radicals induced lipid peroxidation, damage the membranes of liver cells and organelles, causing the swelling and necrosis of hepatocytes and resulted in release of cytosolic enzymes into the blood (Singh B et al, 1998).

The use of herbal products for medicinal benefits has played an important role in nearly every culture on earth. Herbal medicine was practised by ancient people of Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas (Wargovich et al, 2001). Over 50% of all modern clinical drugs are of natural product origin and natural products play an important role in drug development programs of the pharmaceutical industry.
The consumption of a variety of local herbs and vegetables by man is believed to contribute significantly to the improvement of human health, in terms of prevention, and or cure of diseases because plants have long served as a useful and rational source of therapeutic agents (Roberts and Tyler, 1999).

I have the impression your article is inspired from the second and third paragraph of this article for this first part, a paragraph of this article for the second part and the first sentence of this article for the last part.

As copy pasting is not really recommended on steemit (this consists of after all plagiarism), may I suggest you to indicate your sources, and quote text taken from elsewhere so that your readers will be able to get what is your own original text and what is not. Another option is to post a link and write one or two paragraphs of your own to explain why you liked this link.

Thanks in advance for your consideration!
