Well said. Kindness is difficult. It's laying down our rights. Even when the other person doesn't deserve it. Even when we are feeling the opposite. Even when we are too busy, too tired, or too stressed. It's setting all that aside and doing right. Being kind. The cost of that means something and is rare in this day and age.
