Hey good morning to you 😀!
I don't know about you but speaking for myself, it always puts a big smile on my face when I come across a picture like this one!
A couple that have lived a long lifetime full of happy times as well as sad ones. Laughter followed by tears, break ups and make ups. Joy and pain and I am sure spending endless hours on bingo and similar games lol !
And still at that age they manage to.....play the "game", literally and metaphorically. By not only having fun but entertaining us as well as, teaching us valuable lessons in life! Now that's sth not only admirable to look at but makes me wonna laugh and dance too lol
Careful. Dancing is contagious. You wouldn't want anyone to catch it from you :-)
Dancing is always a good thing and no one should be afraid to be contaminated by it ☺
What about the Tarantella? (said to have originated from the bite of a tarantula spider)
And Leonard Cohen has a slightly jaded opinion of dance as well:
dance me to the end of love
Yes that is true Tarantella dance is connected with the Tarantula spider. It is said though, that Tarantella was performed as a therapy against the bite of the spider ☺!!
Another thing that a lot of people do not kow is that both the dance and the spider took their names from Taranto (Taras) a city in Southern Italy, which was created by the Spartans.
So I guess dancing is a good thing after all 🙂!
P.s.: The song you posted is a legendary one by beloved Leonard Cohen, which is beautiful to dance to!!!
I guess the debate will go on for eternity as to whether dance originates from, or cures, the bite of the lady spider.
Do tarantulas make webs? or are they hunting spiders like my beloved Wolf spider pets in the Himalayas?
Oops I do not know the answer to this. But would love to know 😉
I guess it doesn't have to do with dancing lol
No, it is more basic than that :-)
