How I get my ass to Greece / #lifetalk 1

Hello everyone,
I decided to share my story with you. Maybe it will give you other point of view, maybe it will encourage someone to make a step or something else.
To introduce myself little bit. My name is Alex, I'm 26 years old now and I'm half Czech and half Greek.

Today I want to tell you about my road to Greece. Where the idea about moving to the country of blue and white colour start? That's a good question. First thoughts came when I was 12, maybe. At this time I learned that I'm half Greek. Since then much more things make a sense to me. But at this time I was still going to school and it was like a childhood dream. As the time was passing, I grown up, move out of my city and found a job. When I took my first money, I knew exactly what I'm going to do with them. Spend them on a vacation in Greece 🇬🇷.

In 2013 or 2014 I'm going with my girlfriend on my first vacation. For someone just a vacation, for it was dream comes true. All the years of dreaming became reality. I can't even describe here, how i was feeling when i was in the plane and I knew that in a while I will land on my "homeland." My heartbeat was going crazy, I couldn't breathe and inside me I was crying by happiness. I felt that I'm coming home. And this emotion get even stronger when we came to our hotel. There was a guy on reception who was checking our passports and IDs. For a while he was reading something in mine and meanwhile he was scanning me. After few seconds he is asking me, "Alexandros? Do you have something common with Greece?" I'm saying "Yes, I'm half Greek" with little bit insecurity in my voice. At this time everything changed. He called all the employees of the hotel to welcome me. It was like a lost son just came home. That was incredible. Last day of our vacations we went for a small trip with our Greek friends. They showed us a lot of places and things. Their warm hearts and souls were amazing. But unfortunately we had to leave. When we came back to Prague, nothing was like before for me. I was feeling, like I left my heart in Greece and my mind was there. Since then I was saying that I want to live in Greece for sure. I had this idea in my head every single day for 3,5 years. One day, when I broke up with my ex, I was finally ready to make the step. Take my things and leave to the place where my heart is.

I was also lucky because I had a friend at that time in Greece. So there were no doubts about it. I just put all of my things inside the car and went straight to Greece, 1800km down to the South of Europe. And how it is here? Will I make it again in my life? Hell yeah! It was maybe my best decision in my life. Of course I went through a lot of sh*ts and I'm still going, but at the end of the day I'm truly happy. And that's what does matter.
And BTW right now I'm sitting on the balcony and enjoying every single breathe what I can take here.

So I would like to tell you, don't be scared to make THE step, what is going to change your life if it's going to make you happy. Because here is nothing more important than to feel good.
And if you are thinking, that something can go wrong, you are totally right. But someone told me one thing "When you will really decide to make something, God will make everything to make it happen."
