I did the whole "quit my job to follow a dream thing" like 7 years back myself!
Can't say that it was a smooth journey though. In fact, I've a love-hate view on this idea.
All in all though, life is too short to work one job your whole life, so no regrets!
Steemit definitely has helped improve things of course.
Oh I hear you, I guess I didn't mention all the hell there was in between. I only am just coming up from the storm now ;)
It's always rough or else everyone would be able to do it in a flash and the whole world would crumble because it's built on jobs and people being obedient and employed so, we have to know it can't be a walk in the park right away at least ;)
Steemit is going to be a game changer for sure- hopefully it'll help free some people up to live their passions :)
