It was the 7th day of my travel, it was time to visit Luxembourg, the green heart of Europe. The bus journey was a little tiring to be honest and I couldn't wait to reach my destination and unwind :) Meanwhile I was able to capture this <3

But I had few hours to myself before meeting my host and hence decided to get some food till then. By this point, finding vegeterian food had been a little difficult so I was really looking forward to a good meal.

Unfortunately, the food was no where close to fulfilling and honestly this made me really sad.. also because of the added exhaustion from the journey, I think. Fun Fact: This was the most I had ever spent on a plate of rice (11 Euros!!)

I thought maybe a good dessert might help and I ordered a slice of Mille-feuille and.. I was not impressed AT ALL. Guess good food wasn't in store for me here! Anyway, I headed to my airbnb after whining about the food to myself :P

My destination was on the outskirts and took about 20 minutes to reach but the entire bus ride was completely worth it. The roads got emptier and the houses were the best part! It was probably my first time seeing these many cute and colorful lined up!

As soon as I met my host, she educated me on all the useful locations and tourist spots around the city. Also, luckily there was a supermarket near me from where I grabbed whatever vegetarian food I could and headed back. Some funny halloween decorations on the way :)

The place was big enough for me with a pleasant view and I loved how the room was so cozy. After doing all my work for the day, it was time to have some good food and relax. I had a warm cup of Lavender tea in my host's kickass "Luxembourg" mug :D

This is how pretty the sunset was and all my tiredness just vanished just be witnessing this :) I didn't have much to do the rest of the day so I took it a little easy and also caught up on some work. My day ended by watching a movie while munching on something sweet.. I think :P I will be back with some exciting pictures from the next day, till then...
