Its officially the start of 2018, let the train push on!

I can recall way back 2002 when blogging was still a novel idea. My gut felt it was going somewhere but I never really had the stamina to generate the contents it required. Fast forward spending countless hours in all social media streams. Looking at cats and dogs and anything in between. Not that I regret but it made me wonder. Is this it? Is this all the future there is?

November last year I finally was not lazy and did a good amount of reading in blockchain technology and a couple of cryptocurrencies. This is when I found an ICO(Crypto20) that made me think, hey this can work. And I am excited how that would turn up when it starts to trade in January 15, 2018.

Then the rabbit hole got me into Binanace, and I am loving it 40% growth in 2 weeks-- dont be impressed I started with 80USD. I stopped trading last December 28 because of the supposed Segwit2x. Suck right, what people would do for free coins, including me. Later that day I had a nagging feeling something was wrong with the supposed Bitcoin fork so I reached out to the founder of Crypto20 to confirm what the move of the ICO would be post fork. Then he said, its fake news. Then it hit me, instead of relying on baseless research I should have known better.

Before the end of 2017, I saw Steemit conversations in Discord and Reddit which got me curious. So today I am here.

My 2018 goal is to create a weekly journal of all things cryptocurrency, blockchain, speculations and personal stories of how I will adopt to the changes coming our way, may it be in banking, social media or just our normal daily lives.
