I joined last month. Since then I've been blogging and commenting on a variety of subjects. I do my best to contribute to the community. The mechanics of Steemit are still a little confusing, so I don't focus on that. I focus on participating, supporting others and offering novel posts that may add to the overall value of Steemit. I think my strength will be in creating content. It's what I'm good at. As long as I receive positive feedback and experience incremental progress I won't be be discouraged. So, why should I get your vote? Because it will be another step on the ladder I hope to climb, slowly. Thanks for running the contest.
